April Meeting was Fantastic

Amanda did a fantastic job leading the meeting while Kelly was out of town.

Retreat: Retreat is full. Full payment is due and you should pay via PayPal, if you have not already done so. Get on the waiting list if you want go if there is an opening.

Amish Exhibit: November 2014 at SJMQT. Joe Cunningham will do jurying. Entries are do October 1, so get busy designing.

Jackie Gehring Workshops: July 26, 27

San Mateo County Fair: entries due May 7. Drop off quilts May 27, 28

Sew Day: May, Los Altos Library. If you are the first to arrive, go get key from Children's Librarian

National Guild: everyone should have gotten an email from the Modern Quilt Guild about your new membership in that entity. There are a few people who do not have email addresses associated with their BAMQG membership. If that is you, see Alison.

Charity: There will be a new block in May. Lots finished on  charity sew day. From the Cat Bed department: Amanda will accept schnibbles in May only. Bring your fabric and batting that is 3" or smaller next meeting.

Small Groups: Hand quilting, Tula Pink City Sampler, Round Robins, Color groups.

Personal challenge: Kelly will post information about making your FMQ exercise into a  tote bag. Stay tuned for that.

Announcements: Recycle and buy new rotary cutter blades from LP Sharp. Jaye posted the information on the Ning. PENWAG meeting 2d Saturday of each month. Guests are welcome.
